Craft had a very clear direction to follow, a state of the art project needed an interior design that followed those steps that ODA had created for the building. The team was able to propose a minimal while very cool and collected concept of the units as well as a playful while very tasteful amenities and lobby layout that projected the essence of the architecture itself. Dumbo has a very industrial history and is full of old warehouses and manufacturing buildings, ODA in its design mixed the concrete look with wood to balance both inside and out which reflects in the visualizations that were asked to be rendered by the client. As part of our scope, we created a video where we went ahead and told the story of what we think living in 98 Front, Brooklyn would feel like. The cubes played an important role in the storytelling, which we thought was a bit of a lean into the architecture itself, leaving the viewer with the sensation that the building and the neighborhood could feel like home and pair very nicely together.
